Ingredients
- 1 hooded cloak in mauve (RGB 98, 87, 98 — the color of dried lavender pressed in a forgotten book)
- 1 white mask, Noh-inspired, expression neutral (not sad, not angry — waiting)
- Black void to taste (86.9% coverage, no stars, no texture, no mercy)
- 3–4 cascading folds in the cloak fabric, each darker than the last
- A single shadow beneath the chin where the mask meets the hood

Begin with the void. Not black paint — true absence. The kind of black that makes OLED pixels power down entirely. This is your canvas and your frame.

Drape the mauve cloak. Let it pool at the bottom in irregular waves, as if gravity is merely a suggestion. The folds should read as motion frozen, not fabric static.

Place the mask dead center. Eyes should be empty ovals — no pupils, no highlight, no life. The mouth a single thin line. The face must look like it was carved from something that once grew.

Add the shadow collar. Where the mask meets the hood, a crescent of #141414. This is the only depth cue. Without it, the mask floats. With it, the mask belongs.

Let the cloak edges dissolve. The bottom hem should not end — it should taper, like smoke losing the will to hold shape. This creates vertical flow that draws the thumb upward when unlocking.
Chef's Note: The mauve tone (neither purple nor gray) was chosen because it sits in the perceptual blind spot between warm and cool. On some displays it reads as shadow. On others, as fabric. This ambiguity is the point. The mask's white is the only value above 200 RGB — making it the automatic focal point without any compositional trickery.
