Abandoned District Clown Smile Thumb

The old fairgrounds were boarded up for a reason. When the town council locked the gates fifty years ago, they permanently cut the power to the amusement district. They assumed absolute darkness would force the old entertainers out. But following the recent perimeter breach at the north gate, the carnival's generator has mysteriously sputtered back to life. He hasn't been gone. He’s just been standing in the pitch black, patiently holding that smile. Now that the lights are flickering, he is stepping forward to greet the new era of our town.
